Explore how digitalization affects the communication between companies and their (potential) customers and other stakeholders, and the possibilities digital media offer for both internal and external communication. Become an all-round communication expert, or specialize in marketing communication, internal communication or corporate communication. This is a track of the MSc Communication and Information Sciences.

With Business Communication and Digital Media, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of online communication trends and fast-changing media technologies and their impact on the internal and external communication of companies and organizations.

  • Research the opportunities digital media offer for companies and organizations, for example for their marketing communication, corporate branding, customer service, crisis communication and communication in the workplace.
  • Analyze the effects of the implementation of new communication tools on communication processes and their outcomes. And learn how to turn your findings into advice on how to use these tools effectively. Take into account both the functional and the social aspects of communication.
  • Choose from a wide range of electives. Become an all-round professional or specialize in the field of marketing communication, internal communication, or corporate communication.
