Online application form

Create an account on the Kastu platform. When registering, provide an email address you check daily – all important information about your application will be sent there.

Use the Kastu study search engine. When you find a program you like, click the green  +  button, and it will automatically appear in your application form.

Tip: Choose 2–5 programs at different universities – this will maximize your chances of admission.

Fill out all parts of the form, upload your documents, and click "Submit application". The Kastu team will review your data, clarify details if needed, and send the form to the universities.

The form is simple and clear. It consists of 8 parts:

1. Personal information – name, surname, contacts, citizenship.
2. Education – school, years of study, grades.
3. Foreign languages – English language level and test results.
4. Experience – work, volunteering, or other experience (if any).
5. Documents – transcript of grades, passport copy, etc.
6. Motivation letter – required only for certain universities (Kastu provides instructions with examples).
7. Recommendation letter – optional.
8. Other information – additional questions or notes.

Important: Next to each section of the form, you will find an ! icon with explanations – if you have questions, simply click it.

The Kastu platform will tell you exactly what your university requires. Usually, you only need:

• A copy of your ID document
• Transcript of grades (or Secondary School Leaving Certificate, if you have already completed secondary school). Read more
• Motivation letter (only where necessary – list here). We will review your motivation letter and advise you on how to improve it to increase your chances of admission!

You will see the list of required documents in the „Documents“ section of the application form. Once you add study programs – the system will automatically show what documents you need specifically for your chosen programs. Required documents may vary depending on the universities you apply to.

Once you submit the form, the Kastu team takes over the administration:

• Reviews and checks your documents.
• If errors are found – contacts you and helps correct them.
• After confirming everything is in order – sends the form to the universities.
• Informs you about each stage of the application.

You can track your application status in the Kastu application system – after logging in, you will see which stage your application is at. You will receive an SMS and email about every update, so you definitely won't miss anything.

Yes!

Most students start the application process while still studying in their final year. You can provide missing documents, such as your Secondary School Leaving Certificate, later when you receive them.

In one form, you can choose up to 20 study programs at different universities and countries. We recommend choosing 2–5 programs to increase your chances.

Once the form is submitted, you can no longer edit it yourself. However, the Kastu team will review your documents and, if corrections or additional information are needed, will contact you and help make the necessary changes before sending the documents to the universities.

If the form won't submit, it means there are unfilled mandatory fields. Review all parts of the form and fill in the highlighted gaps. If the problem persists – contact the Kastu team via kastu.eu/contacts.

No! 

Filling out the form and the administration of the application process through Kastu is completely free. You do not need to pay for document checking or application administration.

Yes!

Requirements depend on the university. Some universities accept your Secondary School Leaving Certificate as proof of English proficiency, while others require an international test (IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, etc.).

If your chosen program requires an international test, you can submit the application form now and add the test certificate later. We will inform you about the final deadlines, so you won't miss anything.

The Kastu team usually reviews the form within 1–3 business days. If additions are needed – you will be contacted by email. After approval, the form is sent to the universities.

As long as the form has not been submitted – you can freely add, remove, or change programs. After submission, changes are only possible by contacting the Kastu team.

We recommend uploading documents in PDF format. JPG and PNG formats are also accepted. It is important that the documents are clearly scanned or photographed – without cut edges or dark spots.

The earlier, the better! We recommend starting to fill out the form as soon as you decide to study abroad.

Deadlines vary depending on the country and university. You will find everything next to your chosen program. We recommend not leaving it to the last minute!
