Studying abroad had been my dream for as long as I can remember. I wanted to experience a new culture, meet new people, and challenge myself by living in a completely different environment. I believed that stepping outside my comfort zone was the best way to discover who I really was and what I was capable of.
After finishing high school, I didn't rush into university. I wanted to be certain about what I wanted to study and what kind of future I wanted to build.
A year later, I had the opportunity to live in Denmark while attending a sports school. That experience completely changed my perspective. I fell in love with the country, its culture, and the way of life. By the end of that year, I knew Denmark was where I wanted to continue my education.
I had already been following Kastu for a couple of years, so when it was time to apply, I knew exactly where to turn. The application process was much easier than I expected. Whenever I had a question, the Kastu team responded quickly and explained everything clearly, which made the whole experience stress-free.
I was accepted into my second-choice programme, and I couldn't have been happier.
One of the best things about studying in an international environment is that everyone is going through the same experience. You're surrounded by students who have also moved away from home, so it's easy to support each other, make new friends, and adapt together.
Of course, the beginning isn't always easy. Moving to a new country, settling into a different culture, and building a new life takes time. But once you settle in, you'll probably find it hard to imagine choosing a different path.
