In the first year of the programme, you are introduced to the three values of sport: the health value, economical value and social value. You also orientate yourself in your future work field by carrying out the first challenges to which these values of sport are central.
The international Sport Studies programme is characterised by its professional focus and helps you to become an innovative sports professional. As a change agent, you can make a difference at both the individual and community levels. The power of sports lies within the three core values of sports and physical activity:
- sport is an important part of a healthy lifestyle;
- sport creates economical value;
- sport can strengthen social cohesion to change communities.
The Sport Studies programme offers you a flexible study programme that is built around these values. This means that you can give more direction to your study path through various options within the programme.
