The Master of Science (MSc) in Digital Technology Engineering is a 2-year program offered by Fontys University of Applied Sciences. You will get an extra specialization in Digital Technologies and you will learn about software & hardware, AI, machine learning, data analysis & statistics, and develop new skills. What you will learn
- The program gives you the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and skills in digital technology and systems engineering. It is designed to let you develop solutions to complex problems posed by digital transformation.
- During the Master, we facilitate a stimulating learning environment in which you work on real-life challenges, using skills such as collaboration, feedback and reflection. By working in a design-oriented way, you will experience the problems faced by the industry and understand the stages a digital technology solution goes through from start to finish.
- Upon successful completion of the Master's degree, you will be a digital technology engineer who can implement digital technology solutions and contribute to the digital transformation of organizations. You will be able to contribute to a rapidly changing digital society and have a social impact on the fields of sustainability and ethics.
- ECTS transcript – If you are still completing your Bachelor’s degree, upload an ECTS transcript showing the subjects you have studied, your grades, and the number of credits awarded. Your Bachelor’s diploma must be uploaded later, as soon as you receive it.
- Bachelor’s diploma – If you have already graduated, upload your Bachelor’s diploma. A separate ECTS transcript is not required.
Note: Your Bachelor’s degree must be in the same or a related field as the Master’s programme you are applying for. The university will check whether you have completed enough relevant subjects and ECTS credits.

Applicants have to prove their English language skills either by an internationally recognized language test or upon previous studies. Usually English language skills can be proved by the following documents:

- Secondary education completed in English in a country or school qualification accepted by the university
- An English subject and grade on your secondary school leaving certificate that meet the university’s requirements
