Aviation Business offers you an inspiring and unique learning environment, where you step out of your comfort zone, take on different roles, encounter people, learn to listen and understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and create solutions together with partners.

It offers excellent opportunities for networking and benefiting from cross-cultural collaboration – and creating friendships. Most students will go on student exchange and some will do their work placement abroad. The wide Haaga-Helia international partner network consists of nearly 200 institutions. The programme offers also various possibilities for internationalization at home.

The studies are conducted in English. International students are also offered Finnish language and culture studies to support their integration into the Finnish society. 

Entry qualification
  • Transcript of Records – If you have not yet completed Secondary School, you must upload a transcript showing your current grades. You can find the transcript template here.
  • Secondary School Leaving Certificate – If you have already completed Secondary School, you do not need to upload a separate transcript. Simply upload your Secondary School Leaving Certificate to the application.

English language requirements

You may not need to take IELTS or TOEFL. University usually allow you to prove your English proficiency in one of the following ways:

  • TOEFL iBT*
  • IELTS Academic
  • A Cambridge English qualification
  • A national English examination listed on your secondary school leaving certificate
  • An English subject and grade on your secondary school leaving certificate that meet the university’s requirements
  • Secondary education completed in English in a country or school qualification accepted by the university
  • An International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate (EB) diploma
  • Other

Other requirements

All eligible applicants will be invited to participate in the admission interview. Haaga-Helia sends invitations to the online interview by email a week before the interview date.

Online interviews will be held on the following days:

  • 11 - 13 February 2026
  • 4 - 6 March 2026
  • 15 - 17 April 2026
  • 3 - 5 June 2026.

The interview will be assessed on a scale of pass/fail.
