Combine business with IT! The degree programme in Business Information Technology provides students with practical professional Business IT skills combined with an extensive theoretical base.
In addition, studies typically include content and practical application arranged in co-operation with partnering IT and other companies. This collaboration with both local and international companies is an integral part of the degree and enables students to learn the skills and acquire the experience to work in multicultural teams and on multinational projects.
Career plans that include the development of entrepreneurship, and sales and service abilities are strongly supported. Furthermore, the degree offers general courses enhancing other skills required to successfully work in a business environment. These skills are related to areas such as teamwork, communication, and the ability to work independently.

- ICT and Business

- ICT Infrastructures and Cloud Services
- Transcript of Records – If you have not yet completed Secondary School, you must upload a transcript showing your current grades. You can find the transcript template here.
- Secondary School Leaving Certificate – If you have already completed Secondary School, you do not need to upload a separate transcript. Simply upload your Secondary School Leaving Certificate to the application.

You may not need to take IELTS or TOEFL. University usually allow you to prove your English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- TOEFL iBT*
- IELTS Academic
- A Cambridge English qualification
- A national English examination listed on your secondary school leaving certificate
- An English subject and grade on your secondary school leaving certificate that meet the university’s requirements
- Secondary education completed in English in a country or school qualification accepted by the university
- An International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate (EB) diploma

All eligible applicants will be invited to participate in the admission interview. Haaga-Helia sends invitations to the online interview by email a week before the interview date.
Online interviews will be held on the following days:
- 11 - 13 February 2026
- 4 - 6 March 2026
- 15 - 17 April 2026
- 3 - 5 June 2026.
The interview will be assessed on a scale of pass/fail.
