The Hospitality and Tourism Experience Management Programme (EXPER) is one of a kind. The 21st century is dominated by the Experience Economy. Today’s experience-seeking guests want to stay in amazing and unusual hotels and restaurants, they want to go to see performances, immerse themselves into gamified new luxury and experience artificial intelligence-based concepts.

As a student of Hospitality and Tourism Experience Management, you will learn the necessary skills to succeed in the customer service industry. Keep in mind; this also includes the new and exciting field of experience. Our studies provide you an extensive professional learning experience. You are immediately put on the path toward earning a Bachelor's degree. Studies improve your skills in project management, team working and presentation. 

You will accomplish major in Experience Management (30 ECTS). In addition, you may choose one or several minor packages (15 ECTS) in the field of hospitality, tourism, and/or experience or other business studies. With a Bachelor of Hospitality Management, you are an expert in the service sector. As a graduate, you will be choosing one of many careers within the hospitality, tourism, and experience industry. The jobs include positions in management, entrepreneurship, industry specialist or service and sales.

  • Transcript of Records – If you have not yet completed Secondary School, you must upload a transcript showing your current grades. You can find the transcript template here.
  • Secondary School Leaving Certificate – If you have already completed Secondary School, you do not need to upload a separate transcript. Simply upload your Secondary School Leaving Certificate to the application.

English language requirements

You may not need to take IELTS or TOEFL. University usually allow you to prove your English proficiency in one of the following ways:

  • TOEFL iBT*
  • IELTS Academic
  • A Cambridge English qualification
  • A national English examination listed on your secondary school leaving certificate
  • An English subject and grade on your secondary school leaving certificate that meet the university’s requirements
  • Secondary education completed in English in a country or school qualification accepted by the university
  • An International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate (EB) diploma
  • Other

Other requirements

All eligible applicants will be invited to participate in the admission interview. Haaga-Helia sends invitations to the online interview by email a week before the interview date.

Online interviews will be held on the following days:

  • 11 - 13 February 2026
  • 4 - 6 March 2026
  • 15 - 17 April 2026
  • 3 - 5 June 2026.

The interview will be assessed on a scale of pass/fail.
