Cyber Security
Do you want to work professionally with cyber security, networking, and data security?
The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Cyber Security equips you with strong competencies in IT security, data protection, and the secure operation of digital systems.
You will specialise in cyber security and learn how to protect businesses and organisations against cyberattacks, safeguard sensitive data, and identify vulnerabilities in IT systems.
Cyber security is a rapidly growing field, and professionals with expertise in IT security are in high demand across a wide range of industries. Throughout the programme, you will develop the skills needed to protect digital solutions and contribute to a secure digital future.
Content and structure
The programme equips you with the skills to protect businesses, organisations, and society’s digital infrastructure against cyber threats and security breaches.
You will learn how to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber attacks, while developing expertise in network security, encryption, security tools, and security management. You will also gain an understanding of governance, compliance, and organisational security culture.
Career opportunities include roles such as IT Security Consultant, Cyber Security Specialist, or Security Advisor in both private companies and public organisations.
Our Teaching combines theory, practical exercises, and project-based learning, giving you the opportunity to work on real-world cases and build hands-on experience in cyber security.
During the fifth semester, you will complete an internship where you will apply your theoretical knowledge of cyber security in a professional setting. You can choose to undertake your internship with your own company (entrepreneurship internship), abroad, or in a more traditional internship placement.

You may not need to take IELTS or TOEFL. University usually allow you to prove your English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- English Language Hours – The total number of English language hours completed in Grades 10, 11 and 12 should be at least 210 hours.
- TOEFL iBT*
- IELTS Academic
- A Cambridge English qualification
- A national English examination listed on your secondary school leaving certificate
- An English subject and grade on your secondary school leaving certificate that meet the university’s requirements
- Secondary education completed in English in a country or school qualification accepted by the university
- An International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate (EB) diploma
- Other
