Branding & Marketing Management
Do you want to develop brands and new concepts? At the Branding and Marketing Management speciality at Design, Technology and Business programme you will learn to work strategically and creatively with marketing and branding.
Branding & Marketing Management is an area of specialisation within the Academy Profession (AP) Degree in Design, Technology & Business and is located in Herning.
During the programme you will, among other things, study the subjects: Concept development, Campaign Communication and Branding and Marketing. Here, you will for example learn to analyse brand values. This enables you to develop and operate campaigns in line with the brand identity. You will also learn about consumer behaviour, trends and tendencies. This knowledge you can use to develop creative concepts which draws attention and spark curiosity.

- Branding and marketing
- Market analysis
- Development of brand identity
- Social media
- Influencer marketing
- Adobe’s creative programmes (Photoshop, InDesign etc.)
- Transcript of Records – If you have not yet completed Secondary School, you must upload a transcript showing your current grades. You can find the transcript template here.
- Secondary School Leaving Certificate – If you have already completed Secondary School, you do not need to upload a separate transcript. Simply upload your Secondary School Leaving Certificate to the application.

You may not need to take IELTS or TOEFL. University usually allow you to prove your English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- English Language Hours – The total number of English language hours completed in Grades 10, 11 and 12 should be at least 210 hours (1 hour = 60 minutes), and the English grade should be at least 6 on a 10-point grading scale.
- TOEFL iBT*
- IELTS Academic
- A Cambridge English qualification
- A national English examination listed on your secondary school leaving certificate
- An English subject and grade on your secondary school leaving certificate that meet the university’s requirements
- Secondary education completed in English in a country or school qualification accepted by the university
- An International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate (EB) diploma
- Other

You will most likely be in the company’s marketing department where you can work broadly with branding and marketing assignments within fashion and lifestyle.

VIA Career Service Centre
VIA University College is already making a huge effort to help international students find internships and jobs in Denmark. For several years, our Career Service Centre has been offering VIA students help and guidance in searching for jobs and internships in Denmark by offering workshops on “how to write a CV”,or “how to write an application”. The Centre also organizes company dating – a campus fair where students get to meet a lot of Danish companies to hear more about career opportunities. The Career Service Centre is currently intensifying these activities in response to both the Ministry’s and VIA’s wish for international students to remain in Denmark after graduation. We will be offering graduates even more events and opportunities to meet the companies, just as the opening hours at the Career Service Centre have been extended and more seminars will be held. We want our international students to experience that access to the Danish companies and to the Danish labour market will be even easier in the future.
