I had known for a long time that after finishing Secondary School, I wanted to study abroad.
Why Denmark? The first major reason was the opportunity for tuition-free education for EU students at the time. I had also heard many inspiring stories from people I knew who had chosen Denmark before me.
Their experiences made the country sound exciting, welcoming, and full of possibilities. The more I listened, the more certain I became that Denmark was the place where I wanted to begin my own journey.
The admission process took time, but it was not particularly complicated. The Kastu consultants guided me through every stage and were always willing to help whenever I had a question.

Looking back, I do not regret my decision at all.
Studying in Denmark introduced me to many wonderful people and completely expanded my view of the world. I learned about different cultures, discovered new ways of thinking, and gained experiences that I would never have found by remaining in my familiar environment.
One of the things I appreciate most is the relationship between students and lecturers.
The lecturers do not look down on students or create unnecessary distance. They communicate openly and naturally, almost as if you were colleagues or friends.
This makes it much easier to ask questions, express your opinion, and feel confident during your studies.
I was also fortunate to find a part-time job without too much difficulty. Working alongside my studies allowed me to support myself and become much more independent.
For the first time, I truly felt that I was living as an adult who was responsible for their own decisions, finances, and everyday life.
That independence is one of the most valuable things studying abroad has given me.
Of course, moving to another country requires courage. You leave behind familiar people, routines, and places. But in return, you gain new friendships, broader opportunities, and a stronger understanding of who you are.
Studying abroad does not only change where you learn. It changes how you see yourself and your future.
My advice to anyone considering this step is simple: do not allow doubt to stop you.
Prepare carefully, ask for help when you need it, and give yourself the opportunity to experience something completely new.
Choosing Denmark gave me supportive lecturers, international friendships, independence, and memories that I will carry with me for years.
Take the chance. Your new life may be waiting just beyond your comfort zone.
