How do businesses interact with their environment and stakeholders? And how do global environmental challenges affect organisational structures? Within the International Business Administration programme, you learn about what it takes for organisations to create social and economic value for long-term survival of organisations.

International Business Administration offers you a wide range of topics, with consideration  for international management, as well as for psychology, sociology, communication, economics and law. Ample consideration is given to the role of social and cultural aspects within organisations. After all, conducting good business involves a lot of interaction.

During the Bachelor’s programme you will follow four learning lines. This way you will develop your knowledge and skills each year. The learning lines are:

  • International Business Administration content: you will explore the field of International Business Administration. Each semester there are 2-3 courses focused on theories in the field.
  • Academic Skills: you will develop and improve academic skills such as finding recourses, critical reading, presenting and argumentation.
  • Methods: you will learn how to design a research, how to collect, interpret and report data and how to research ethically.
  • Professional and Personal Development: you will develop yourself both personally and professional. During the curriculum there is room for career orientation, self-reflection, project management and ownership.

  • At RU students have to really like to do research, to write and to analyze, because most of the assignments are written.
  • RU has free writing classes at which students can attend if they struggle with academic writing (most of the students attends them).

  • Easy to find a job as a student – lots of shops, bars, restaurants. Student who gave me a tour said all his friends found a job in 2-3 months.
Entry qualification
  • Transcript of Records – If you have not yet completed Secondary School, you must upload a transcript showing your current grades. You can find the transcript template here.
  • Secondary School Leaving Certificate – If you have already completed Secondary School, you do not need to upload a separate transcript. Simply upload your Secondary School Leaving Certificate to the application.

An additional document, Statement of Education, may be required depending on the programme you apply for at this university.

If this document is required, it will appear in the Documents section of the Kastu application form once you start your application.

 

Depending on the programme, the following may be required as part of the application process:

  • CV/Resume in English
  • Motivation Letter in English

You may not need to take IELTS or TOEFL. University usually allow you to prove your English proficiency in one of the following ways:

  • A national English examination listed on your secondary school leaving certificate
  • An English subject and grade on your secondary school leaving certificate that meet the university’s requirements
